ACRC Kush Transition Fund
Supporting a community-level reform coalition addressing the Kush crisis among young people in Freetown.
The Kush Transition Fund, led by the African Cities Research Consortium (ACRC) Freetown team, addresses the Kush crisis and its related challenges among young people in Freetown.
The project supports a reform coalition at community level, engaging government representatives, community leaders and youth organisations. It represents one of ACRC’s priority complex problems, issues that hinder cities’ economic and environmental progress. The goal is to develop sustainable solutions that address both substance abuse treatment and the underlying social, economic and environmental factors driving the crisis.
