Infrastructure for living evidence systems.

Built by IfD Tech, the technology arm the institute established in 2024, Sabi Core lets an organisation turn scattered research, reports and policies into an evidence base that stays current: ingestion, structured knowledge graphs, synthesis, validation and publishing in one platform.

Organisations already hold the evidence. It just stops being usable.

Research, evaluations and policy work accumulate across drives, inboxes and archives. Each piece was useful once. Together they become a collection nobody can query, so the same synthesis gets commissioned again a year later.

The problem is not storage. It is that the material was never structured, never kept current, and never connected to anything else the organisation knows.

How it works

  1. Bring the evidence in

Point the platform at what you already hold: reports, evaluations, policy documents.

  2. Let it stay current

New material joins the existing structure rather than starting a fresh synthesis each time.

  3. Publish to your audience

What comes out is citable, traceable and ready to go to the people who use it.

What the platform does

  1. Ingestion

Scattered research, reports and policy documents brought in, whatever shape they arrive in.

  2. Knowledge graph

The material is structured rather than stored flat, so what connects to what is held explicitly.

  3. Synthesis

Evidence drawn together across the whole collection instead of one report at a time.

  4. Validation

Outputs checked back against the sources they came from before anything is published.

  5. Publishing

Organisations publish the result to their own audiences from the same platform.

New evidence comes in, and the loop runs again

We build organisations their own Sabi Core.

Sabi Core is not a shared library you subscribe to. IfD Tech sets up an instance for your organisation (your evidence, your categories, your governance rules, published to your audiences under your name) and hands it over with the people trained to run it.

Talk to us about yours
  1. Scope

A short call to establish what you hold, who uses it, and what it has to answer.

  2. Set up

Your instance, your taxonomy and your validation rules, configured, not coded from scratch.

  3. Load

Your reports, evaluations and policies ingested and structured; the first syntheses checked against source.

  4. Hand over

Your team trained to add, review and publish; IfD Tech on call for what comes next.

Built on the problem, not around it

Sabi Core comes out of a national research institute that has spent a decade dealing with exactly the problem it solves.

Traceable by design

Validation sits inside the pipeline rather than after it, so what gets published can be followed back to the document it came from.

Yours to configure

The platform is infrastructure. What an organisation builds on it, and who it publishes to, stays that organisation's decision.
