Sierra Leone's evidence, in one place you can question.

A verified, centralised hub for the country's laws, policies, evaluations, government surveys and unpublished research.

Ask Sabi a question

The evidence exists. Finding it is the problem.

Sierra Leone's policies, evaluations and surveys are real and largely public. They are also scattered across ministries, donor archives and outdated PDFs, and the most useful material, the evaluations and grey literature, was never published anywhere searchable.

So work restarts from nothing, the same study gets commissioned twice, and programmes are designed without knowing what has already been tried.

How it works

  1. Ask, don’t search

Type the question you actually have, instead of guessing at keywords.

  2. Get cited answers

Every response links to the document it came from.

  3. Work from the original

Follow the citation and quote the source itself.

What it holds

The evidence Sierra Leone already has, gathered from the places it was scattered.

For anyone who needs credible Sierra Leonean evidence quickly:

  • Policy makers
  • Government officials
  • Researchers and students
  • Donors
  • NGO staff
  • Librarians
  • Business development teams

Built in Sierra Leone, from Sierra Leone's own evidence.

A decolonised approach to AI

Answers come from the country's own laws, policies and evaluations, not inferred from evidence produced elsewhere, about somewhere else.

No unsourced generation

Every result links back to a verified original. Where the library cannot support an answer, the system does not invent one.

Developed by a national institute

Built by IfD to international data protection and responsible AI standards.
