Dr Dee

The affiliated IfD video channel. Research methods and health evidence, explained for a general audience rather than for a peer-review panel.

Why video

Research findings rarely reach the people they describe. Reports circulate among donors and ministries; the communities who took part in the study often never see the result. Video travels further than a PDF, and it travels in the languages people actually speak.

The channel is managed by IfD's communications team alongside the blog and the institute's other digital channels.

New episodes cover research methods and health evidence in plain language, aimed at the communities the research is about, not just the people who commissioned it.
