Sabi Salone: the country's evidence, in one place you can question

Sierra Leone's policies and evaluations are largely public. They are also scattered across ministries, donor archives and outdated PDFs. Sabi Salone puts them somewhere you can ask a question.

Sierra Leone’s national policies, laws, evaluations and surveys exist. Most of them are public. The problem has never been that the evidence is missing; it is that finding it takes days, and much of the most useful material, the evaluations and the grey literature, was never published anywhere searchable at all.

The result is familiar to anyone who has written a proposal or drafted a strategy here. Work restarts from nothing. The same study gets commissioned twice. Programmes are designed without knowing what has already been tried.

Sabi Salone is IfD’s answer: a verified, centralised hub for the country’s laws, official policies, project reports and evaluations, government surveys and unpublished research, built so you can ask it a question in plain language rather than guess at keywords. Every answer is cited and linked back to the source document, and where the library does not support an answer, the system does not invent one.
